Recently, International Intellectual Property Forum focusing on IP Strategy and Enterprise's Competitive Power was held in Chongqing. SIPO Deputy Director Gan Shaoning and Chongqing Vice Mayor Zhou Mubing attended the opening ceremony and gave speeches. The forum was an important part of the 9th China Chongqing Hi-Tech Fair (CCHTF) and the 5th China International Exhibition of Military & Civil Technologies (CIEMCT).

The forum brought together experts at home and abroad to pass down experience and advanced technology to relative personnel from enterprises and people work in IP related fields. Through lectures and talks, ideas on IP and its relations to economic growth, ways to improve universities' technological R&D and its commercialization were presented and exchanged. Through simulation, Senior U.S. legal team recreated the IP license negotiation scenario of a cross-border merger and acquisitions case. They presented a live demonstration of the negotiation skills and problems called for attention and corresponding solutions for the enterprises.
