The Intellectual Property Office of the southwestern province has launched an official website to offer a wide range of patent data sourced from home and abroad.

The information service mainly covers the province's key industries of forestry, biological engineering, horticulture, organic food, tobacco, biomedicine and bio-chemicals.

The patent database is planned to cover more sectors including metallurgy, energy and information in the near future, according to the office.
