Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Center is offering a new "identification envelope" to protect textile drawings and pattern designs.
Designers seal their creations in the special envelopes. If infringement occurs, they can take the envelopes as evidence to prove the date of creation.
The service is also intended to save time and reduce the possibility of plagiarism. The justice department has made it clear that such envelopes can serve as evidence in copyright cases.
