Recently, the Intellectual Property Office of the Suzhou Industrial Park held a pledge financing and evaluation forum to explore the establishment of pledge financing service mechanism with its focus on IP assets evaluation. It would meet the urgent financing need of local hi-tech enterprises.

At the meeting, the person in charge of asset appraisal firm introduced the process of IP pledge financing, time node, and the different conducts and issues existed in current IP pledge financing business. Representatives from banks were more concerned about the risk control and possible measures at the emergence of bad debts in IP pledge financing. They expressed their hope to cooperate with evaluation companies, technology transfer departments to accelerate the development of the pledge financing business.
