An Expo intellectual property rights training class for provincial-level officials at the Administration for Industry & Commerce was held at China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong on Saturday.
Lecturers included Huang Jianzhi, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, leaders of the State Administration's Bureau for Registration of Foreign-Invested Enterprises, and representatives from the Trademark Office, Department of Advertising Regulation and Antimonopoly and Anti-Unfair Competition Enforcement Bureau.
Lecturers also include heads of the legal department for the Beijing Olympic organization committee and heads of legal department with the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
Huang outlined details of the Expo 2010 site planning, participation affairs, events and forums, communication and promotions, market exploration and operation preparations during the class. He stressed that Expo 2010's innovation urgently needs effective intellectual property rights protection.
