ACLA Beefs up Protection of Shanghai Expo IPRs

 

The Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination signed a memorandum on IPR protection and cooperation of Shanghai World Expo with the IPR Committee of All China Lawyers Association (ACLA ) in Nanjing recently.

According to the memorandum, the association will mobilize patent attorney, especially those in Yangtze River Delta, to engage in Expo-related IPR works. They will not only give advices to the enactment of pre-proposal on IPR protection during the operation of Expo, but also provide relevant consultations on IPR to organizer, participant and visitor and help organizer to solve IPR disputes. In addition, a climate concerning IPR protection will be brewed in the country through prevalent public education activities.
