The Qingdao Municipal IP and Finance Bureau jointly released 2008 Qingdao patent projects with the aid of a special fund.

There were patent applications from Hisense and 18 other enterprises.

Hisense ranked first with 834 patent applications, 219 invention patents and 405 utility model patents.
