Recently, Technical Service Center of Technology Division and a patent agency in Lanxi, Zhejiang Province co-started the online patent application for patent applicants.

After the launch of online patent application, applicants can receive a notice of acceptance within a day after applying patent files. The waiting period for the notice of acceptance is one week to one month shorter than paper application. Files of applications of inventions online, functional or industrial designs and etc will enjoy the same legal validity as that of paper applications. This will not only save a lot material and financial resources for companies and individuals, but also greatly shorten the accepted time.

After the trial running since 2004, our online patent application system started its publicity and promotional events last August.
