Shenzhen Semi Firm Prevails in 337

In its initial determination for a 337 investigation of certain small-format BGA semiconductor packages and products, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) ruled for Shenzhen firm Ramaxel.

U.S. firm Tessera filed an action before the ITC in December 2007, alleging infringement of the above-mentioned patented products by 18 Chinese and American firms including Ramaxel and sought an exclusion order.  Ramaxel responded aggressively.  In September 2009, ITC judges rendered the above judgment.
