Shanghai prosecutors are promoting measures to bolster intellectual property (IP) protection for Shanghai World Expo organizers and participants.
Expo cases will be treated under a specific framework, according to the new document issued by prosecutors.
Prosecutors are required to immediately investigate criminal cases, and said that aggravated crimes such as sabotaging Expo complexes will be aggressively prosecuted.
Corruption and other potential criminal acts affecting the preparation and operation of the Expo are also priorities, prosecutors said.
