Jiangsu province established a cooperative relationship with Japan on intellectual property rights (IPR) enforcement. The agreement was designed to make it more convenient for Nanjing enterprises operating in Japan.
The Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu province on Sept 8 signed a memorandum on intellectual property cooperation with the Shanghai agency of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Nanjing.
According to the memorandum, the two sides will research evolving global trends, hold intellectual property workshops, and offer assistance for visits and training sessions, as well as promote joint commercial activities.
