The Second National Patent Administrative Law Enforcement Training Class in 2009, sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and undertaken by the Anhui Provincial Intellectual Property Office, was held in Hefei on Sept 1.

SIPO Patent Management Department Director Ma Weiye attended the meeting and put forward requirements for the training session.

Dong Rong, director of the Anhui Intellectual Property Office, described patent applications and patent law enforcement in Anhui in recent years.

Dong said the training class would enhance the law enforcement administrative ability of the attendees.

The training class invited experts from SIPO and Anhui to give lectures on topics ranging from recent revisions of patent laws to analysis of administrative law enforcement cases.

Patent law enforcement personnel from throughout the country and 17 IP management departments of the Anhui Intellectual Property Offices attended the training session.
