The Anhui Financial Department and Anhui Science and Technology Department jointly issued the document, "Anhui Interim Measures for the Administration of Transformation Fund of Scientific & Technological Achievements in Agriculture".

The fund will recognize achievements in agriculture and science that are deemed independent intellectual property.

Applicants must own the core technology and intellectual property rights (IPR).

The Transformation Fund won't be available to mature transformation programs or programs involved in IP disputes.

The Transformation Fund will mainly support breeding new varieties of plants and animals and transformation of the technical achievements to processing, shipment, new resources or sideline products.

The fund will provide up to 500,000 yuan to support such projects, with applicants required to also provide funding.
