The Quanzhou Municipal Intellectual Property (IP) Office on Aug 24 began seeking patented technology projects to help promote the city's innovations.

The first stage will involve collecting 200 samples of "excellent" technology projects, the city reported.

The initiative will boost efforts to promote construction of the Quanzhou Municipal Patent Technology Exhibition and Trading Center.

The IP office is seeking projects that hold invention and utility model patents. The projects also must not involve patent disputes.

Patent holders are asked to submit their project materials to the Quanzhou Municipal IP Office before Sept 30.

Collected projects will be displayed at the Quanzhou Municipal Patent Technology Exhibition and Trading Center.
