The 18th Annual China Invention Exhibition was held Aug 12 through Aug 15 in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan province.

The China Association of Invention and Yunnan Provincial People's Government hosted the exhibit, which showcased Chinese inventions and product innovations.

More than 1,700 products were displayed in 8,000 sq m of exhibit space.

In addition to professional displays, the public also was invited to exhibit the inventions of non-professional adults and teenagers.

The items exhibited featured innovations in the fields of electronic information, biology, medicine, energy, environmental protection and other industries.
