Recently, Shanghai Intellectual Property Arbitration Court held an expert consultation committee meeting in Shanghai for the first time. The meeting was to review the special draft on IPR arbitrational rules and regulations and discuss how to expand the services and influence of Shanghai's IPR arbitrational work.

Established in October, 2008, Shanghai Intellectual Property Arbitration Court has accepted 10 cases regarding IPR dispute, worth tens of millions of RMB. Three of them had already been closed. The source of cases has extended from Shanghai local to other provinces.
