Recently, a panel discussion between act enforcement and judicial authority on the Revision and Establishment of Beijing Patent Protection Act was held in Beijing in 12330. It was organized by Beijing Intellectual Property Office.

On the meeting, participating units suggested that Orders of Local Authorities should be consistent with Patents Act's amendment and National IPR strategy and timely adjustment should be made. They also suggested that Orders of Local Authorities should take into consideration of the capital's new stage of development and location features. New contents and improvement should be added in advance. Those local orders that have already put into play or have been proved to be well-functioning should be further institutionalized, standardized and systemized.
