The Intellectual Property Office of Shantou Municipality made the Announcement of Promotion Work of Patents Application in Shantou to all the intellectual property offices on regional and county levels and all the patent service agencies.

Those measures include: people's initiative should be brought into full play in patent applications; foster patent applicants who own large numbers of patent applications; eliminate patent illiteracy while facilitate zero-patent company's involvement; patent service agencies shall play their role in the promotion of patent applications; help laid-off workers and trouble businesses to solve their problems so as to promote patent applications, etc.
