Recently, Hebi IP Administration of Henan Province successfully mediates a dispute of infringement of patent of utility model within only 16 days.

On March 23 2009, Hebi IP Administration received the application from the patent holder from Shangqiu City with a surname of Shan, requiring punishing Hebi Junxian Aluminum Product Factory for infringing his patent (patent number: ZL2005200266167.5).

After accepted the case, Yu Shihang, Deputy Director of Hebi IP Administration led the law enforcers to the factory to deliver related law documents. After plenty of careful investigations, Hebi IP Administration affirmed the patent infringement, believing that the factory's practice infringes the legal rights and interests of the patent holder and damages the economic interests of the right holder.

After patient explanation, the representatives from the factory clarify their understanding, eliminate the resentfulness, and put forward to mediate the case. Presided over by Hebi IP Administration, the two parties sign the mediation agreement on April 9. Hebi IP Administration spends only 16 days to successfully resolve the dispute of patent infringement.
