Yiwu has established the Product Quality and IPR Supervision Service Center, part of the Market Exploring Year of Yiwu and an important measure to update the Yiwu market. The Service Center has six functions:

To publicize and carry out national laws and regulations on product quality and IPRs;

To work out and fulfill a work plan on commodity quality management and IPR protection;

To supervise the quality of commodities and regularly inspect and rectify IP infringement and counterfeiting goods;

To train business operators in the market;

To provide consultative work on laws and regulations related to product quality and IPRs and the procedures on dispute disposal;

To cooperate with the functional departments including science and technology, industry and commerce, quality supervision and inspection and quarantine.
