Fourth Sino-Japan (Shanghai) Intellectual Property Right Exchange Seminar Held in Nantong City of Jiangsu Province

 

Recently, the fourth Sino-Japan (Shanghai) IPR Exchange Seminar was held in Nantong city of Jiangsu province. It was attended by the delegates from Shanghai Intellectual Property Administration, the Shanghai Association for Science & Technology, Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Center, Shanghai Intellectual Property Research Association, Japan Intellectual Property Association, as well as nine enterprises from Shanghai and eight Japanese counterparts. 

The seminar was co-sponsored by Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Center, Shanghai Intellectual Property Research Association, and Japan Intellectual Property Association. The theme was "IPR Strategy in R&D Phase" and "IPR Education & Training inside Enterprises". At the seminar, the patent management personnel from the Japanese and Chinese enterprises exchanged their views deeply in many fields including the investigation of the technical trend in the market before the establishment of scientific research projects, the patent information retrieval and analysis, and the layout, application management and effective application of the patents after the development of new technologies. The delegates from some enterprises also shared their experiences of IPR education and trainings for the employees, technicians and research staffs with each other, especially focusing on the contents, systems, mechanisms, forms, and measures of the trainings.
