Recently, Shandong Provincial Patent Information Center successfully links with the Chinese-foreign patent information platforms of IP administrations of Ji'ning, Dezhou and Zibo cities for trial operation, so as to share the information of "Database of Seven Countries and Two Organizations", namely, the database of patent-related document digests and photos of China, the United States, Britain, Japan, Germany, France, Switzerland, European Patent Office and the World IP Organization.

The project greatly improves the capacities of IP administrations in these cities in utilizing IP information and provides experience and technical guarantee for the IP information public service platform to cover all the cities in the province. In the next step, Shandong Patent Information Center will make the database accessible to other cities in succession according to the requirements of the general plans of IP information platform construction on the basis of perfecting the platform construction of Shandong Provincial Patent Information Center so as to facilitate various cities to publicize and utilize patent information in their respective jurisdictions.

In addition, Shandong Provincial Patent Information Center also establishes Chinese-foreign patent information platforms and supporting analyzing systems for Shandong Longlive Bio-Technology Co. Ltd., Shandong Xinfengguang Electronic Technology Develops Co.,Ltd., and Shandong Shanfang Explosion-Proof Electric Motor Co. Ltd, promoting their capacities of independent innovation.
