Jiangsu IP Administration Director Zhu Yu recently attends the International Forum on Investment and Exchanges (IFIE) in Stuttgart at invitation. As an IP guest expert, Mr. Zhu introduces the development of IP cause in China, especially in Jiangsu Province in recent years and answers questions from entrepreneurs on IPR protection.

At the forum, Mr. Zhu holds talks with EU representatives, IP experts in Germany and representatives of German small and medium-sized enterprises, introduces the development of IP cause of China, especially in Jiangsu Province to participants and answers questions on IPR protection from entrepreneurs, receiving warm welcome and high praises from representatives to the forum across the world.

During his stay in Germany, Mr. Zhu and his party also talk with the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Wuerttemberg State. Both parties fully affirm the achievements made in bilateral cooperation in IP sector in recent years and express confidence and hope to the future cooperation and exchanges.

Baden-Wuerttemberg is the sister state of Jiangsu Province. During the 20 years, both parties have achieved abundant fruits in cooperation in economy and trade, environmental protection, science and technology and education. At the 17th conference of joint committee held last year, both agree to strengthen cooperation and exchanges in IP sector. In June this year, they hold a seminar on IPR protection in Nanjing; in October, both parties sign the Cooperation and Exchange Memo of Jiangsu IP Administration and the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Baden-Wuerttemberg State. Jiangsu and Baden-Wuerttemberg have achieved sound results in their cooperation and exchanges.
