Bazhong IP Administration of Sichuan Province recently organizes all the patent law enforcers of the administration and launches detailed patent law-enforcement inspections in the key areas such as food, medicine and construction material.

The law enforcers totally recorded more than 30 types of food, medicines and construction material with various patent marks in Hengfeng Supermarket, the People's Department Store, Beishan Supermarket, Baixing Supermarket, Zhongtian Supermarket, Nanchi Construction Material Market, Yihe Drugstore and Baixing Drugstore, and discover three types of products with patents without annual fee or with expired patents. They also issue three rectification notices.

In every department store (or drugstore), law enforcers inspect and put into record the products with patent marks and, at the same time, publicize information on IPR protection to business owners and salespeople, closely combining patent law-enforcement inspections with patent information publicity.
