Hubei IP Administration Conducts Exchanges with the Courts on IPR Protection

 

Hubei IP Administration recently organizes people to Wuhan Intermediate People's Court and Hubei Higher People's Court to observe the trials of IP cases and conduct exchanges with the courts in IPR protection.

On the morning of November 10, Hubei IP Administration organizes more than 10 people including the working staff of IP administrations of some cities and prefectures and patent agencies to Wuhan Intermediate People's Court to observe the public trial of an IP administrative procedure case resulted from the handling of a case of IP infringement dispute; on the afternoon of November 12, Hubei IP Administration Deputy Director Wang Guoxin leads a delegation to Hubei Higher People's Court to observe a public trial of an IP civil case.

During the two activities, they personally observe the judicial procedures of trying IP cases. After the trials, leaders and staff members from Hubei IP Administration exchange views with judges on IPR protection and discuss the issue of how to maintain close communication between administrative law enforcement and judicial trial so as to make joint efforts in IPR protection. Leaders of Hubei IP Administration note that more similar activities will be conducted in the future to further improve the level of IP administrative law enforcement.
