Agreement on Patent Administrative Law-Enforcement Collaboration Signed Among the 12 Provinces, Autonomous Regions and Municipality in West China

 

The Conference of Patent Administrative Law-Enforcement Collaboration of the 12 Provinces, Autonomous Regions and Municipalities in West China is held recently in Chongqing. The 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipality in west China jointly sign the agreement of patent administrative law-enforcement collaboration. Yuan Jie, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Commission of Chongqing and Director of Chongqing IP Administration presides over the conference.

At the conference, the 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipality, including Chongqing, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Tibet, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia and Guangxi, sign the agreement of patent administrative law-enforcement collaboration to jointly construct the network of patent administrative law enforcement, making joint efforts to crack down on interregional patent infringements. According to the agreement, patent infringement activities happened in the 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipality can be transferred to each other within five working days, and each of them can handle interregional patent infringement cases.

More than 30 people including heads of related departments of SIPO and IP administrations of the 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipality in west China participate in the conference.
