In order to severely crack down on exhibition IPR infringements at the Ninth Western China International Economy & Trade Fair (WCIETF) held in Chengdu recently, Chengdu Municipal Office of IP Working Conference organizes related member units such as Sichuan IP Administration, Sichuan Administration for Industry and Commerce and Sichuan Copyright Administration to jointly launch law-enforcement inspection in WCIETF with related units of the provincial level.

According to related stipulations of the Chengdu Organization Committee of the Ninth WCIETF and the Measures of Exhibition IPR Protection, law enforcers investigate and handle activities suspected of infringing the trademark exclusive rights of domestic and overseas renowned brands such as Erdos, Montagut and Goldlion, and, according to related regulations, instruct people involved to remove the products suspected of IPR infringement out of the Fair, maintaining the exhibition IPR order.

During the Fair, Chengdu IP Administration also establishes an IP working station to publicize IPR information and handle IPR-related consultations and complaints.
