IPR Protection Publicity Week Launched Nationwide

 

The 2008 IPR Protection Publicity Week is launch nationwide on April 20. Various activities are held in different regions to widely publicity and promote IPR protection.

This is the first publicity week of its kind in 2008, which is held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of China’s adoption of reform and opening up policy and before the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Taking the hot topics and local situations into consideration, various regions give priority to media reports and strengthen their efforts in promoting IPR protection for the goals of constructing an innovative country and implementing IP strategy.

The period from April 20 to 26 every year is set to be China’s IPR Protection Publicity Week, which is jointly held by 18 governmental departments including Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Information Industry, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Culture, State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, General Administration of Customs, State Administration for Industry and Commerce, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, National Copyright Administration, State Food and Drug Administration and SIPO.
