Fuzhou Customs officials seized twenty boxes, altogether 541sticks, of fake "SUPERKING" "LNB" cigarettes in the post channels on October 31. This is the 65th such cases investigated by Fuzhou Customs for over a month since the "Dragon Boat Action" was set going through the post channels.

Information from the China General Administration of Customs says that 'Dragon Boat Action' is a special IPR protection program launched in customs system at China border areas since October 1st ,2007, and also is the largest-scale action taken in recent years. The action will end at March 31, 2008.

Except for the excessive protection towards IPR, Chinese Customs will take more measures to enforce supervision to the exports goods, especially to those exported to US, EU, Chinese Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates (UAE) by transportation or postal means. The measures include adopting more risk-analysis technique and modern customs checking equipment, and upgrading examination and controlling proportion.

Since the launch of the Dragon Boat Action, local customs in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chengdu, Fuzhou, Kunming, Guangzhou, Changchun, Qingdao, etc., have found out more the imports and exports infringement cases, resulting in a good start of the action.
