The patent was selected as one of the Second National Outstanding Patent Engineering Technologies during the national exhibition of outstanding patent and engineering technologies. Large dry-type transformer is a product of independent intellectual property designed by Hainan Jinpan Electric Co. Ltd. Containing various of patent technologies, the product meets the U.S.-based AU standard, the top level worldwide in this regard. In the fierce international open bidding, the product was selected for the project of the new World Trade Center in the United States. Starting from the fourth quarter this year, the company will supply more than 30 such transformers to the project, worth more than $10 million.

According to Wang shengjun, chief of Hainan Department of Science and Technology, Hainan's patents are increasingly appreciated worldwide, greatly stimulating the province's technology trade market. Statistics show that in the first half of this year, a total of 64 technology contracts were registered in Hainan, with total trade volume of 33.7924 yuan million and technology trade volume of 33.3283 million yuan. A large proportion of these technologies were invented by Hainan enterprises and inventors.
