The Fancheng District Bureau of Science and Technology of Xiangfan City of Hubei Province, Fancheng District IP Administration, patent experimental enterprises of the district and inventors jointly established the city's first district-level Association of Inventions recently.

The association will do more pragmatic works to encourage inventions of utility technology, mobilize social forces to support and participate in independent innovation and form a solid base for science and technology development. Serving as a bridge connecting the inventors, the association will publicize the state's laws and policies related to inventions, connect inventors and serve them, and solicit their advices and requests and convey them to the governmental departments. Meanwhile, the association will promote the transformation of inventions, especially non-service inventions through holding various expos and fairs.

Furthermore, the association will make efforts to inspire inventors. The establishment of the association is an important measure to encourage inventors. It is reported that the association will play great roles in the implementation of science and technology awarding system.
