Shanghai Municipal IP Administration and Jiangxi Provincial IP Administration sighed the Agreement on Further Strengthen IP Cooperation and Exchanges at the 2007 IP Cooperation and Exchanges Working Conference held in Shanghai on July 18. Chen Zhixing, Director of Shanghai Municipal IP Administration, and Lai Guangsong, Director of Jiangxi Provincial IP Administration signed the agreement at the conference. Both parties reached a consensus on the detailed cooperation projects in 2007-2008.

According to the agreement, both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation and exchanges regarding sharing of working information and experiences in IP management, IP cultural construction, IP talents training, construction of IP agencies and patent administrative law enforcement, actively promote and expand the channels of the cooperation and exchanges between related IP administrations of county and district level in Shanghai and that of prefecture-level cities of Jiangxi on mutual-beneficial and win-win basis, and annually hold working conference on IP cooperation and exchanges to summarize experiences and discuss new cooperation projects.

In September 2001, Shanghai Municipal IP Administration and Jiangxi Provincial IP Administration signed the Agreement on Strengthening IP Cooperation and Exchanges.
