Recently, the "Training Class on Building the New Villages and the Intellectual Property Strategy" was held in Huairou District, Beijing. This training class was co-sponsored by the Intellectual Property Training Center of China and the Beijing Municipal IP Administration and organized by the local science commission and IP Administration of Huairou District. Leaders from the relevant departments of the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and the Beijing Municipal IP Administration attended the opening ceremony.

Relevant personnel from the SIPO, the Beijing Municipal IP Administration and the patent agencies were invited to give reports on special-topics. The trainers dealt with the contents including: cultivation of the intellectual property talents and building of the new villages, the effects of the one hundred and one thousand butt-to-butt intellectual property projects of the capital in the building of new villages, the name-brand strategy and the building of new villages and the administration and protection for intellectual property of the modern agricultural enterprises with profundity and an-easy-to understand approach.

More than 80 people from the Huairou District took part in the training class. They included: the division-chiefs of the local commissions, offices, bureaus, towns and townships and the responsible persons as well as the managerial personnel of the relevant enterprises and institutions. After winding up of this training class, many trainees were of the opinion that its contents were very well arranged and orientated, with strong policy characteristics, instructiveness and operability. They said one after another that this training further enhanced their own sense of intellectual property, deepened their understanding of the intellectual property system and upgraded their own capability and level of using intellectual property system to guide their work.
