Recently, the "China-Foreign Patent Information Service Platform", located in the Intellectual Property Service Hall of the Xi'an New and High-tech Zone, Shaanxi Province was officially initiated. Consequently, the relevant service businesses have already begun.  This platform will effectively raise the dissemination and use of patent information and even better provide the patent information service for the social public.

The "China-Foreign Patent Information Service Platform" has undergone an all-round upgrading and renovation in terms of equipments, databases and functions, mainly including: the "China-Foreign Patent Database Service Platform" and the "Patent Information Analysis System", which contain all the patent abstracts of China, full text of the patent descriptions and the abstracts as well as the patent databases including the attached maps of 7 countries (U.S., Japan, U.K., France, Germany, Switzerland) and two organizations (WIPO and EPO).  The total number will come up to several dozens of million pieces, covering collection of patent information, processing, patent document retrieval, data analysis, application of information and other sections.  And through the complete value chain system, the value of patent documents will be upgraded to patent information.

The establishment of the Patent Information Service Platform will energetically propel the science and technology administration of the governmental departments, the innovation research and development of the enterprises and the protection for intellectual property, so as to enable the enterprises to effectively make use of patent information technology, improve the working efficiency of the research and development work and raise the capabilities of the core competitive edges.
