The province's intellectual property authorities recently created a plan to protect IP related to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. Zhangjiakou in the province will serve as a co-host of the Games. They will first enhance law enforcement in commodity trading markets where there were more infringement cases and complaints, and crack down on illegal production and sales infringement of trademarks and patents concerning Olympic mascots and emblems. Also, they will strengthen monitoring and recognition of online infringement.
