The Qinghai provincial intellectual property office－in cooperation with its Xining branch in the provincial capital－launched matchmaking activities among companies, banks and assessing agencies to help expand finance for local companies. The office has also launched policies on the reduction of patent application fees, priorities in patent examination, and awards and subsidies for patent holders.
