The Guangdong Administration for Market Regulation released the first white paper on the construction of its consumption environment on March 12. It highlights the law enforcement of intellectual property rights. The province in South China has strengthened IP protection, increased supervision over pricing, fought unfair competition, cracked down on infringements and improved joint social governance. The province applied the country's first policy to reward people who report the production and sales of counterfeit goods.
