The Beijing Integrated Law Enforcement on Cultural Market announced its 2019 list of major enforcement cases last week. Taking various factors into consideration, including social influence, infringement severity and enforcement focus, the listed cases cover a variety of sectors including entertainment, performances, press, online culture, video games and copyrights. Half of them were related to cyberspace. In 2019, the team carried out more than 31,000 inspections of business operations in the cultural market, an increase of 37.29 percent from a year earlier.
