In response to the central government's call to control and prevent the novel coronavirus pneumonia, the Inner Mongolia autonomous region's government said it has established a special fund worth 8 million yuan ($1.15 million) for the research and development of traditional Chinese medicine, especially Mongolian medical heritage, to support the fight against the epidemic. To date, the regions' intellectual property service center has collected nearly 10,000 pieces of related patent information from more than 100 countries. They relate to such sectors as drugs, testing and diagnostic reagents, medical equipment, protective supplies, disinfection and medical waste treatment.
