An intellectual property official from Shanghai announced in late July that patent filings for exhibits during the upcoming China International Import Export will be given priority in processing. Exhibitors can file a priority application on the spot at the expo. In addition, local enforcement officials will provide a green channel to handle IP disputes related to products on display, according to a plan for IP protection for the expo.
