On July 1, Shenzhen customs began the six-month-long Operation Longteng to fight intellectual property infringements in exports and imports. This is the third year running that the customs has launched the campaign. During the first five months of 2019, Shenzhen customs seized 857 shipments suspected of IP violations, worth 14.52 million yuan ($2.11 million), ranking at the forefront of the customs units nationwide.
