Liaoning: Busy Time for Judges Across Province

Judges across Liaoning province in Northeast China handled nearly 5,750 intellectual property cases last year. In 2014, they handled 1,840 cases. This means annual average growth has exceeded 25 percent over the past five years, according to the Liaoning High People's Court. The province is advancing judicial reforms, enhancing its judge team building, setting up a database of typical cases and conducting regular assessments of case quality to improve judicial protection and increase awareness of the public, according to the high court.
