A national intellectual property service center focusing on resolving overseas disputes was founded earlier this month, according to the National Intellectual Property Administration. The establishment, affiliated with the IP Protection Department of NIPA, works to assist Chinese enterprises to deal with overseas IP disputes and construct State-level channels for collecting and publicizing related information. The move is aimed at helping Chinese companies improve their IP risk control awareness and capabilities of coping with such disputes when expanding abroad.
