Yinchuan, capital of the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, will earmark 450 million yuan ($65.15 million) to encourage technological innovation over the next five years, according to the city's science and technology bureau. The fund will be used to support local companies' research and development and reward tech-driven businesses. It is a bid to promote the city's industrial upgrade, local officials said.
