After being piloted for a year, an international intellectual property public service platform was formally put into operation in Shanghai in mid-May. Focusing on IP trade, innovation in finance, overseas operations and protection and key services, the new platform is expected to increase international transactions and encourage innovation and cooperation, government officials said. Over the past year of trial operation, the platform has helped in concluding more than 70 deals on the commercialization of research results and tech services worth nearly 300 million yuan ($43.39 million).
