Zhejiang: Fair Sets New Record for Deals

Deals worth 144 million yuan ($20.81 million) were signed at a copyright trade fair in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province in late September, exceeding last year's 135 million yuan of deals and setting a new record for the annual event, organizers said. The fair aims to provide a platform for the commercial value of literary creations to be realized. In December, a writers' village was established in the city, attracting a great number of popular online authors.
