In 2013, the Innovative platform for DNA encoding small molecule synsthesis and lead compound screening, led by Chengdu Lead Pharmaceutical Co., limited ( hereinafter referred to as Chengdu Lead ), completed the synthesis of 50 million DNA encoding small molecule compounds. As of June, 2014, Chengdu Lead has established 326 different DNA coding compound libraries including 563 million were compounds. It is estimated that by the end of 2015, the company will have finished the synthesis of 1 billion DNA coding compounds and screening of 70 biological targets, which means the company will be a world-class lead compound research platform and research center. The fact that the company achieved such great achievements shortly after being established is closely related to the founder Li Jin’s personal experience.
   
Upon graduation, Li Jin went on his research in postdoctoral research station at Manchester University and made a fame in the field of design for small molecule drugs based on protein structure. Later, he served in global top 500 company AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in charge of global operation and improvement of the lead compound platform around the world.
   
Due to close contacts with China in daily work, Li Jin got to sensed that there has been great opportunity establishing businesses in China. In order to realize his dream of innovation, Li Jin went back to China and signed the cooperation agreement with Chengdu high-tech zone, setting up a lead compound screening platform at international advanced level."Our team has established a complete and standardized technical operation process  including design, synthesis, screening, sequencing and decoding of the DNA coding compound library, offering complete, accurate and persuasive scientific data of active chemicals."  Li Jin talked about his team with much pride.
