In Tiandong County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a cast-concrete and brick house on the Longxu River has been attracting people's attention.

You cannot see mortar between bricks in the house, thus the wall is seemed smoother than other houses. "Did you see the differences in the brick?" Chen Shengzhong, General Manager of Guangxi Chenyu Construction Materials Tec. Co., Ltd., showed the brick to the writer of the article. There were two tenons on two sides of the brick and two grooves on two other sides, which made the bricks locked to each other. Chen told the writer that, with this kind of brick, the wall would be cheeper and stronger. Besides, the brick produce little waste.
   
A few years ago, Chen started to study in bricks without mortar to build houses. In 2013, Chen set up Chenyu Co., Ltd. with his research team. Today, his company has three experimental bases and 300 employees, and obtained 5 invention patents and 6 utility model patents.

Chen told the reporter that, there were over 30 brick factories in Baise City coming to him to negociate about patent permissions cooperation, and some other cities were setting up experimental bases of the special bricks. Some foreign factories in Thai and Myanmar were negociating now.

"I have a dream that people will live in environmental friendly houses. I will do my best to study in the brick, save money for our country, and save energy sources for the earth." Said Chen with confidence.
