The 8th China International Patent Fair will be held at Dalian World Expo Center on Sept 15-17, 2012, according to an

announcement from the city's science and technology bureau on Tuesday.

The fair, which will cover an exhibition area of nearly 30,000 square meters, will set up 1,000 booths to display high

-tech patents and products.

Activities would be held, including: promotion conferences, trade negotiations, summits and forums, keynote speeches,

products release, as well as signing ceremonies.

The fair would invite more than 3,200 companies, colleges and universities, and institutes from 32 countries, according

to the committee of China International Patent Fair, which will open to the public free of charge.
