Chinese Inventors Win IENA Awards

The 63th International Trade Fair "Ideas-Inventions-New Products" (IENA) was held from October 27 to 30 at Nuremberg, Germany, which attracted nearly 800 invention projects from more than 30 countries and regions. The Chinese pavilion really shone as it not only collected six gold, five silver and five bronze medals, but also won the first world green invention awards, the highest honor awarded by IENA.


The Chinese delegation, organized by China Association of Inventions, placed 36 inventions at the exhibition.  


Shanghai Baosteel Company showcased its latest metallurgy technology and won three gold medals. The noise and vibration lowering technique developed by Wang Fayuan, an inventor from Wuhan, Hubei Province, won the green invention awards. International Federation of Inventors' Association (IFIA) president Dr. Andras visited Chinese pavilion and highly praised Chinese inventors' innovative caliber.
